Tutorial on a swiped credit card sale This tutorial will take you though a complete credit card sale using the Pocket Spectrum. It is assumed that you have already setup the Pocket Spectrum to work with Pocket Verifier and that you have successfully activated at least one merchant account or logged on to a demo account. This looks like a lot of screens, but we have endeavored to show you ALL the details so you will be able to perform transactions quickly without wondering what to do. We also are showing many steps (Tip, Tax, etc) that not all merchants will need.
		1. Logon to your account and go to the Main Menu. 2. Turn on the Pocket Spectrum. 3. Press down on the Trackwheel. The default item selected is Credit Card Sale.
		Swipe a credit card through the Pocket Spectrum. In this example we are using a credit card by Nadine Master.
		Once swiped, the customer information will appear on the screen, select "OK" and press the thumbwheel.
		The screen will ask you to enter the amount of the sale. In this example we will enter one dollar.
		By pressing the thumbwheel in you can OPTIONALLY add a preset tax rate to the transaction( set up in the OPTIONS screens.
		IF you have indicated that you accept tips (again in the options screen) the system will allow you to print a "Service Receipt" (see next frame below)
		A Service receipt is a receipt where the customer can enter a tip and total [3]. They can then sign the receipt and return it to you. Notice that you have 3 lines of customizable text at the top and bottom of the receipt [1] and pre-calculated tip suggestions of 15%, 18% and 20% can optionally appear on the receipt as well [3]
		You then enter the tip that the customer wrote down on the signed service receipt, and the total is calculated. Once everything is correct, simply select "CHARGE" with the trackwheel and press!
		Pocket Verifier Professional will then send the transaction to the gateway, and process the transaction....
		When approved, you will see the approval screen. You can manually press PRINT, or if you have set up "Auto Print" in your options, the printer will automatically print the customer's receipt (you keep the signed one)
That's All it takes - Repeat until wealthy!
