KoalaScan is a CCD near-contact scanner designed for portable, field use with
the Koala PDA. The KoalaScan is entirely powered by the Koala, and is much
less expensive than laser driven scanners. It's solid state design makes it much
more rugged, and durable in the field.

KoalaScan reads the most popular bar code symbologies including: Code 39,
Code 128, UCC-128, UPC-A, UPC-E, EAN/JAN-8, EAN/JAN-13, Interleaved 2 of
5, Codabar, and MSI Plessey.

KoalaScan can also plug into Koala's recharging station, for desktop and retail
counter applications!
