Pocket Spectrum Bluetooth credit card reader USB installation

Many of our merchants have requested a USB connection between their Pocket
Spectrum, and their PC. It is NOW AVAILABLE! The package consists of a cable
(with an IC Chip in it), our driver software, and documentation.

What you will need:
● Windows 2000 or XP Computer
● Available USB Port (always use the same one)
● Installation Guide (provided in package)
● USB to Spectrum Cable (provided in package)
● an operational, activated copy of PC VERIFIER

		DO NOT INSTALL CABLE YET!! INSERT THE CD ROM in your Computer
		When you see this screen, press "Install Printer Driver". Pressing "Documentation will bring up this page at any time.
		At this screen, click on "Renistall (upgrade)", and then press NEXT
		At this point, the systwm will want to reboot. Go ahead and check "yes", then FINISH to reboot your PC.
		Plug the cable into both the Spectrum (Turn the Spectrum on first, and into the USB connector of the PC (Remember to always use the same USB connector on your PC) Your PC will identify and install necessary drivers and DLL's.
		Click on START, select CONTROL PANEL, then select SYSTEM. Click on the HARDWARE tab, then press "DEVICE MANAGER.
		Click on PORTS and it will show all the ports connected to the machine. One of these will be called "Prolific USB to Serial Comm Port (COMX) " Note this COM Number, we will sue it shortly.
		Double-click on Prolific USB to Serial Comm Port (COMX) " then click on the PORT SETTINGS tab, then click ADVANCED.
		Here is where we can change the port number if we need to, for now, leave it alone.
		Start PC Verifier. Log in as the ADMINISTRATOR, and press "OPTIONS"
		Set your Receipt Printer and Card Reader to "Pocket Spectrum", and set the COM ports to match what you have set in your Port settings.

NOTICE: In some systems, due to conflicts in your system, you may have to go back to the device manager, and select a different port. Do not forget to change those port settings in PC Verifier as well!
