Merchant Anywhere - Pocket Verifier FAQs

NOTICE: Not all of the PDA's have wireless capabilities from the manufacturer. Third party devices for wireless communication may be used. Please insure that your wireless Internet connection is fully functional prior to downloading our software.

Pocket Verifier includes a no-charge test account, that you can use to insure that your software is installed properly, and you are communicating with the transaction servers. NOTE: if you are using Pocket Merchant on your Pocket PC, you can download special instructions here for the proper Pocket PC Settings.

NOT ALL UNITS HAVE AN RS-232 PORT FOR THE POCKET MERCHANT! Some units will require a bluetooth adaptor and the Pocket Spectrum.

LIVE-TRANSACTIONS REQUIRE INTERNET ACCESS
To process transactions, your Pocket PC must be equipped with the necessary hardware to allow wireless communications. If you can browse the Internet with your Pocket PC, then you can perform real-time transactions. Test Account Instructions:

There are 3 test accounts:

MID: 10000 PWD: 1234 KEY: 10000	This test account simulates a wireless connection, for demonstrations when out of wireless range.
MID: 10011 PWD: 1234 KEY: 10011	This test account communicates with the transaction system, but all transactions are approved with a 'dummy' authorization code.
MID: 10600 PWD: 1234 KEY: 10600	This test account will actually issue a valid Visa / MC authorization. The card will not be billed, but the available credit on that card WILL BE REDUCED by the transaction amount for 7 to 10 days.
