Advanced Merchant Solutions releases Windows CE version of Pocket Verifier
Fullerton, CA (July 10, 2001) Advanced Merchant Solutions Inc., the creators of MerchantAnywhere.com have released the Windows CE version of their Pocket Verifier software. This innovative package allows you and your personnel to easily accept credit cards and checks anywhere with a wireless PDA. This product is similar to the Pocket Verifier for Palm OS released by the company earlier this month, but supports the higher resolution and color capabilities of the Windows CE platform.
Pocket Verifier acts like a regular merchant terminal without the wires. Created for the professional in the field, or the consultant on the go. Perfect for consultants, contractors, artists, technicians, field service, craftsmen, swap meet vendors, installers, and more.
Included FREE is the PC Verifier™, Internet based credit card authorization and reporting system, for those times when you finally get back to your desk!
Pocket Verifier works with any Windows CE compatible PDA with an Internet connection, including Compaq iPaq, HP Jornada, Casio Pocket PC’s and others.
Pocket Verifier for WAP is expected mid July, and supports WAP enabled phones from Nokia, Erricson, Motorola, and Siemens.
To make accepting credit cards even easier for their users, Advanced Merchant Solutions has contracted with TransFirst of Newport Beach, California to offer Pocket Verifier users a flat rate Merchant Account with no signup fees, no gateway fees, no application fees, no setup fees, no statement fees, no monthly minimums, and no deposits, with a rate of $24.95 per month, 30 cents per transaction, and a low Visa/MC rate of 2.2%.
System requirements: Pocket Verifier requires a Windows CE compatible PDA with Internet access.
