Fullerton, CA (June 5, 2001) Advanced Merchant Solutions Inc., the creators of MerchantAnywhere.com have released the Palm OS version of their Pocket Verifier software. This innovative package allows you and your personnel to easily accept credit cards and checks anywhere with a wireless PDA.

Pocket Verifier acts like a regular merchant terminal without the wires. You can use it anywhere! Created for the professional in the field, or the consultant on the go. Perfect for consultants, contractors, artists, technicians, field service, craftsmen, swap meet vendors, installers, and more.

Included FREE is the PC Verifier™, Internet based credit card authorization and reporting system, for those times when you finally get back to your desk!

Pocket Verifier works with any Palm OS compatible PDA with an Internet connection, including Handspring Visor, Kyocera Smartphone, IBM Workpad, Sony Clie, IBM Workpad, Supra e-KEY, ePocrates, TRG HandEra, and Symbol! If you have one of these devices without an Internet connection, you can use the Palm Mobile Internet Kit to access the Internet through your mobile phone.

Pocket Verifier for Windows CE is currently in final testing, and is scheduled for release at the end of June. This version supports the popular Pocket PC platforms from Compaq, Casio, Mitsubishi, Hewlett-Packard, and others. Pocket Verifier for WAP is expected mid July, and supports WAP enabled phones from Nokia, Erricson, Motorola, and Siemens.

To make accepting credit cards even easier for you, Advanced Merchant Solutions has contracted with TransFirst of Newport Beach, California to offer Pocket Verifier users a Merchant Account with no signup fees, no gateway fees, no application fees, no setup fees, no statement fees, no monthly minimums, and no deposits, with a flat rate of $24.95 per month, 30 cents per transaction, and a low Visa/MC rate of 2.20 percent.
