Fullerton, CA (November, 2003) Advanced Merchant Solutions Inc., the creators of the award winning Pocket Verifier family of software, has released Pocket CrossCheck for wireless check guarantee.

Pocket CrossCheck operates on a wide variety of wireless PDA’s, including the popular Treo sold by Sprint, T-Mobile and Cingular, the Kyocera 7135 from Verizon, the Samsung i300, 330, and 500, and many more that use the Palm Operating System.   This advanced package takes the customer information by keying in the driver’s license information (or swiping the license with a reader), which it then sends to the CrossCheck check guarantee system.

This software is designed to be easily used by any merchant with an existing CrossCheck account. Pocket CrossCheck supports all wireless carriers, color displays, and can use the company’s Pocket Merchant, a combination card reader and thermal printer to read magnetically encoded driver’s licenses, as well as print a receipt for the customer’s purchase.

The company will be releasing its versions of Pocket CrossCheck for Palm OS 5, used on the new Handspring Treo 600, and Tungsten W, as well as for the Microsoft Pocket PC operating systems over the next two months.
