Bluetooth Pairing

We are now going to set up our Bluetooth, and "pair" the phone with the Pocket Spectrum.  Have the Pocket Spectrum turned on, and within Bluetooth range (about 10 feet).

 


Starting from the main menu:

 

Open Control Panel

 

Click the Connections tab, then select Bluetooth.

 

In the Bluetooth dialog, click the Settings tab and turn Bluetooth on.

 

When Bluetooth is on, the Bluetooth icon will appear at the bottom of the screen.

Turn on the Spectrum printer, then click on the Add button.
After a brief instant, your phone will discover the Spectrum (Mobile Pro).

 

Select Mobile Pro

 

Enter the passkey when asked.

 

Passkey: 1000

 

Phone is now paired with the Spectrum. Make sure you select Spectrum as your Reader/Printer in the Settings area of your software. When the software is ready to use the Spectrum display a Bluetooth selection box.
