TUTORIAL

Thank you for your interest in WAP Verifier.
Below you will find a quick tutorial on how to use our service.
You will need a Merchant Account from MerchantAnywhere.com
However, if you would like to see if your device supports WAP Verifier, please open the log on page (using your devices built-in WEB Browser) by entering the following site:

     www.amsiws.com/mobile

     Merchant ID:
10011  Password: 1234

    Logging On and Options

When first logging in you must enter a Merchant ID and Password. On some devices, these will appear all at once. On others, you will need to enter the values separately and click on the OK button.
After verification, the merchant name will appear with menu options.

There are 4 items. Not all options may appear on the screen, so you may need to scroll down. When selecting the Options item, the Select Option menu will appear. Here you can choose the information to display for sales.

    Keyed Data Input

A special card reader can be attached to your device in order to swipe cards (see nSwipe.com for details), however, the WAP Verify was designed to be used with almost any device that doesn't have this ability. So orders can be processed by keying in data.

After selecting the Keyed item in the menu, you will need to enter the customer's name,
card number, and card expiration data. WAP Verify does not require address verification,
because it is assumed that you will actually have the credit card in hand and verify the
card holder's identity before taking the sale.

Below is an example using the
WAP Verify Swiped feature.
All data is encrypted before being sent
through the network. In some cases, not
all data will fit on a single screen. Scroll
down to display all available data and to
make sure the reader has added all the
credit card information.

Entering Amounts and Approvals

Depending on the items selected from the Options menu, certain wizards may or mat not be displayed. The steps below show the screens that will appear when the Prompt Tip option is selected. where Tolls and Misc are not.

In order to speed up input on your device, the decimal portion of the amount was removed. Thus, entering 100 will equal a value of one dollar (100 = $1.00), where 12345 would be equivalent to $123.45. Since not all devices may be compliant to the WAP Standard Text Formatting protocol, numeric input may not be the default input method. To speed up entering of numeric data, most devices allow you to rapidly switch from alpha or T9 input to numeric mode by holding down the key for 1 second. Other devices use the right selection key or menu key. See the user guide that came with your device for details.

may need to scroll down to see total on some screens          press OK to go back to the menu screen
