Quick Start - “Swiped Rate” Credit Card Sales

With Card Collector Mobile, taking credit card sales is fast and easy. Simply follow the 5-Step process outlined below...

Step 1:
Open
Card Collector Mobile, select you Merchant Account, and click on the Credit Card Sales icon.

Step 2:
Swipe the Credit Card through a Pocket Merchant Card Reader or Key-in the information. On a success-ful swipe, multiple tracks of the credit card data are analyzed and compared for validation. The data is then automatically transferred to the PDA device and the
Amount Keypad appears.

Step 3:
Enter an amount (in this example $10.00), click on the ACCEPT button, and all the information you need for processing a transaction appears on the screen.
Now click the
Next button to display the Verification screen.

Step 4:
Ask the customer to verify the information and to sign in the Signature area. You can lock the screen using the Lock icon () so that when you hand the PDA to the customer, none of the navigation buttons will function. This avoids any accidental actions by the customer.

Step 5:
Click Store and your sales transaction is stored (with signature and card data) for later processing.

Better yet... attached your PDA to one of our Pocket Merchant Printers and print a receipt for the customer.
