"Bargain Basement" Specials!

The Bargain Basement is now OPEN!

New uses for Camera phones.  I have talked to a few our merchants, that have come up with an interesting use for the cameras built into their PDA phones.

One of our merchants who sells at the swap meets, takes a picture of anyone using a personal check.  Another merchant takes a photo of the customer's driver's license for large dollar amount purchases.   You may want to check and see if there are any ordinances or regulations in your state, county, or city against doing this, but according to the reports, it REALLY cuts down on fraud and chargebacks.  If a customer knows you have a picture of them holding the merchandise, it's pretty hard for them to call Visa, and claim he did not make the purchase.  Likewise, a bad check passer will walk away knowing you will have his picture to give to the police!  Most states have laws against passing bad checks, and here a picture speaks more than a thousand words!

A number of merchants, looking for "special's" have called in to ask if we had any close-outs, old merchandise, etc.  At the same time, I see all sorts of 'stuff' that I wonder what the heck we are going to do with..., The "Bargain Basement Page" was developed just for this purpose!

We have only placed a fraction of our available surplus inventory on this page, so you have a reason to check back from time to time.  We already have a number of PDA's, card readers, PDA Phones, and more is coming!   We only accept orders of these items by phone, so you can inquire directly about details of these items before making a final decision.  Some of the most "select" of these items are available to our merchants only, and will not be sold to resellers.

With Christmas approaching, we are getting a lot of last-minute requests for e-commerce.  With few exceptions, our highest recommendation still goes to Kingcart.com.  We have been using them for 2 years now (our store is a King Cart store, although you cannot tell), and we are still happy, and still paying only $10 per month (high volume stores may be higher).  You can try out KingCart for FREE, with their 30 day trial.  Most merchants can get 10 to 20 products "up and selling" with KingCart, linked directly to their MerchantAnywhere merchant account, in just 2 to 3 days!  It allows you to present "Real Time" UPS and FedEX pricing to your customers, based on the weight (which you enter when you add the products), your zip code, and the customer's zip code!  You can also apply a "formula" to the shipping calculations, to allow for a percentage or dollar "add on" charge.  Take a look at their special offer here.
