MAC Tools selects Pocket Verifier Pro!

A customized version of Pocket Verifier accepts their 
private-label MAC Tools credit card!

These people REALLY know how to throw an event.  The Tool Expo was held at the Anaheim Marriott, and they had an absolutely incredible reception display for their distributors at the adjacent Anaheim Convention Center.

They presented our Pocket Verifier package to a packed room with over 1400 distributors, and they actually cheered when they were told what they can do with our technology!  The presentation was displayed on what appeared to be a huge translucent drumhead, flanked by their sponsors "choppers" (Motorcycles built by Jesse James Monster Garage).  Needless to say, after that, the booth was continuously PACKED, with an unprecedented response:

AMSI would like to extend its thanks to MAC Tools, IMI, and Sprint for the opportunity to help so many good people.

All of our merchants know what a powerful tool Pocket Verifier Professional is, but it took nine months of vigorous testing with a group of volunteer MAC Tools distributors before we were allowed to produce a version of our software with the prestigious MAC tools Logo. 

MAC Tools selected our ever popular Treo 300 system for their initial roll-out.  This will certainly strain our supply, we will have an update on the supply situation next week.  At the MAC Tools expo, we were (quietly) pleased to see that our Treo 300's were among the FEW that got great reception INSIDE the building!  We converted a LOT of people to Sprint on that fact alone, even loaning our phones to people who needed to make a call, but had no service inside.

Pocket Verifier was enhanced to accept their private label credit card. This capability opens the door for not only other corporate private label cards, but gift and loyalty programs as well.  We developed a custom "Back End" for this, so stay tuned for future developments!
 

This was a really big opportunity for both MAC tools and ourselves. The MAC tools distributors had no way to swipe these cards, and with 35,000 of them in the field, they were missing out on plenty of business opportunities!  Not only can the MAC Tools distributors accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover and Amex, but they can now swipe their own Mac Card just as fast!  They were also excited about the possibilities offered by with our Pocket CrossCheck Check guarantee system.. No more bad checks!

This was a great experience, getting feedback from mobile merchants, some of whom already had accounts with us, and we  received many suggestions for future enhancements and accessories. Keep an eye out for an automotive mount for the Pocket Merchant!
