How does your web site compare to the competition? Did
that change I made last week help or hurt me? Do I really get results from
that Pay-per-Click campaign, and how many? These are many questions
you can get answered for FREE, thanks to a unique tool developed by a
subsidiary of Amazon.com.   The
Alexa
toolbar for Microsoft Internet Explorer can
give you full metrics on how popular your site is, how many pages of the
average visitor views, and how long they stay! AND ITS FREE TOO!
Another advantage it has, is that BLOCKS ALL THOSE POP-UP ADS as well.
In addition, Alexa's Related Links are a great way to discover new sites.
As you surf the web, the toolbar is constantly updating with information
about where other users visit ( a great research aid, and it shows you all
the competitors for every site you visit, including yours!)
The daily traffic graph can show you (24 hours later) exactly the
impact that a new campaign, web site change, or submission is doing to
your traffic. Compare it to a competitor, and you can immediately
tell if it is an industry trend, or if what you are doing is really making
a difference! I use this tool EVERY DAY, while I have my morning
coffee, to let me know immediately if I need to do anything special.
In addition, YOUR web activity is added to the global 'vote' making
the things you like more popular, and the things you don't, less
popular. It is NOT spyware, they just anonymously total summaries
for all the websites that Alexa users visit.

Sprint calls this unit the "Harrier", for some unknown
reason, but like the Marine Corps Jump Jet, this unit is definitely
cool. Another plus, it has built-in Bluetooth, so if you want to use the
completely cordless Pocket Spectrum, you certainly can. 
If you want Sprint service coverage, but just cannot handle the price of

you are automatically on the penny/Kb plan! Second, this unit can
use cables and accessories for the T-Mobile Pocket PC / iMate MDA II, so
everything is off-the shelf (including Pocket Merchant cables).
Third, it has the most elegant keyboard solution EVER, period. In
normal use, it is about the size of the T-mobile / iMate units, but when
you need it, the unit 'splits', and you have a QWERTY keyboard (with a
VERY COOL violet glow).
