Finally, a shopping cart for .NET with full source! As the name applies, a cart you can host on Windows servers... Hooray!  This cart is truly amazing, they have more features and options than I ever thought I would see outside of Amazon.com.  Not free, but for a couple hundred bucks, you own it, put it on your server, and since it includes source, do anything you want! If your server is Windows, you REALLY need to check this one out! 

Here is another gem:  The Alexa toolbar for Microsoft Internet Explorer can give you full metrics on how popular your site is, how many pages of the average visitor views, and how long they stay!  AND ITS FREE TOO!  Another advantage it has, is that BLOCKS ALL THOSE POP-UP ADS as well.  In addition, Alexa's Related Links are a great way to discover new sites. As you surf the web, the toolbar is constantly updating with information about where other users visit ( a great research aid, and it shows you all the competitors for every site you visit, including yours!)

I can't remember that crazy URL to enter my transactions! We hear that a LOT. So, to help our merchants remember, we now have created the convenient:

which is certainly easier to remember!  It will take you to Transaction Central, and gives us a location to alert you to critical hardware and software updates as well!

Cash receipts are the most often requested addition to our family of PDA software.  Last week, we announced our package for Palm OS, here we introduce it for Windows Mobile (Pocket PC)!  Almost all of our merchants accept cash, and they have a printer and PDA, but no way to generate a receipt!  Now with Pocket Change you can enter your sales amount, have the tax calculated, enter the amount tendered, have the change calculated, and print the receipt!  You can order it for only $10 online by clicking here !

  Pocket Change requires Pocket Verifier (or one of its cousins), it uses the option settings for its tax calculation, and receipt header / footer layout.

Everybody loves free stuff, and you can get all sorts of Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover merchant materials just by asking!  Actually, you need to go to the proper places on their websites and tell them what you want! The links to these sites are at the bottom of this newsletter, and you can get decals, tip trays, calendars, signs, mouse pads and more!  You 'pay' for it simply by identifying yourself as a merchant with your merchant number.   Look on your statements for this number.
