A USB solution for PC's and
Laptops with both printer and swiper! Our newest product bundle
fills a request we get too often: How can I get Pocket Merchant to
work on my laptop? Almost all new laptops are built with no
serial ports, and the Pocket Merchant is a serial device! After
testing many of the USB to Serial converters, we found one that worked on
every system we could try, and it was from a trusted vendor, Cables-to-Go.com.
We have purchased a quantity of these, and are bundling it with the Pocket
Merchant, and our Flagship PC software, PC Verifier. Normally the
package would cost $437 (Pocket Merchant at $299, PC Verifier at $99, and
USB to Serial Adapter at $39), but we are offering the bundle at only $337
- WOW - a $100 savings! You can order it by clicking here. Now your
wireless laptop or PC can accept credit cards anywhere!

PayPal settles Lawsuit- In early 2002, Roberta Toher and Jeffrey
Resnick filed separate lawsuits against PayPal, claiming that the
company is prone to restricting, freezing or closing customer accounts
without good reason; the cases were later consolidated and turned into a
class action suit in the United States District Court for the Northern
District of California, San Jose Division. The
suit also claimed that PayPal failed to supply customers with
information about dispute resolution procedures and didn't follow proper
procedures when investigating complaints. PayPal denied
wrongdoing, but it settled the suit in June 2004, avoiding a trial.
According to the
settlement, PayPal will
pay $9.25 million into a settlement fund, to be paid out to members of
the class action and the attorneys. The company also was required to
change its business practices, which it says it's already done. If
you believe PayPal held your funds, or if you have lost money due to
unfair practices, you
can fill out a claim form here.
