AMSI gets BBB "A" Rating!

The Better Business Bureau awards us with an "A" rating
!

The Pfishing scams are really hiting full swing this summer!
We have received HUNDREDS of scam emails pretending to be from Fifth Third Bank, Wells Fargo, Bank of America and others.

Generally, the email will say that for one reason or another your account is endangered if you do not log in and correct the problem.  They provide a link for you to click on.

Other scams will actually call you and leave a message, with a toll free number and a "reference" number, stating that your account is in danger, the victim of fraud, or will be closed if you do not call within 24 hours.

Both of these are SCAMS, and if you click or call, you will be asked to enter information that goes directly to scammers.  They will ask for credit card numbers, PINs, social security numbers, etc., all in the guise of "verification"

What do I do, what if it is real?  The solution is simple.  If the call or email identifies a bank that you have a credit card with, simply pull out the credit card and call the 800 number printed on the back.  THIS IS THE ONLY SAFE NUMBER TO CALL.  If it is about a checking account, call your branch.  If you do not know the branch number, DO NOT CALL THE NUMBER ON THE PHONE MESSAGE OR EMAIL.  Call 411 or pull out your telephone book!

What else should I do?  Tell your entire family about these scams.  The protection this knowledge gives you is worthless as a Kleenex raincoat if your spouse is not informed, and they return the scammer's calls or click on the scammers email and give all your account information away!  Make sure they know how important it is that they follow these guidelines, or you could be in for a heartache!

Many merchant service companies are plagued by poor BBB (
Better Business Bureau) ratings, due to independent sales reps who misrepresent fees and charges, or sign up merchants with long term leases and contracts with cancellation penalties. Our corporate policy of honesty, integrity, and trying to give the merchant the best service we possibly can has paid off.  By dealing directly with the merchants ourselves, and not allowing anyone to resell our products and services, we have maintained a tight control over our customer service and sales so we can excel in our merchant's eyes.

Rather than complaints, since 2001 we have racked up lists of Awards and Testimonials One of the frequent calls we get is: "do you guys have any business cards or flyers you can send us to tell our friends and customers about you!" Even merchants that have closed their accounts due to lack of business give us glowing recommendations!

We are not stopping here. We will continue to give our customers the best support we possibly can, until we can achieve a "AAA" rating!

As always, if you have comments or suggestions to help us improve our service, or enhance our products, just email us at inform@merchantanywhere.com

Many of you have called saying that you are not receiving our newsletter
If you are using, or planning to use a Spam blocker that requires that we click on a link in an email for "verification", that will not work.  Security constraints prevent us from clicking on links embedded in emails, even from Spam blockers.

To help you receive these newsletters, we have developed a guide so you can tell your Spam blocker that you want to receive this newsletter. Just click here for the guide.

I wonder if these guys remember, when their teacher told them to pay attention- as someday their education would be important.  Obviously, these guys were asleep in spelling class...
