Kyocera 6035, 7135, and Samsung i300, i330, i500 Software Upgrade

As of August 1st, 2004 Palm.net has stopped its Wireless Service and as a result, a number of programs that use the Palm.net INET libraries in the Kyocera and Samsung Smartphones will no longer work. 

We did issue an emergency upgrade to get our users operational, but some users have reported problems, and this upgrade is intended to fix that.

In order to upgrade to the latest version of your software, you must first remove the old version.

Please follow the procedure below.

  Note:

All Transactions will be deleted!

If there are any transactions that have not yet been submitted, please do so before upgrading.

 Please follow these steps.  

  1. Open the Credit Card Verification Software
  2. Log On to the main Menu Screen
  3. Select New Log On…
  4. From the Drop Down list, choose New Account…
  5. Type "delete" (with out the quotes) into the Merchant ID (MID) text box
  6. Click on Activate
  7. When the WARNING dialog box appears, click OK
  8. Click OK to exit the program
  9. Click on the Menu icon
  10. Select delete from the menu
  11. Delete the following files
    1. BasicIngots-BASI
    2. Booster
    3. DataCommIngots-DTCI
    4. EnhancedIngots-ENHI
    5. MultimediaIngots-ML
    6. VerifierPro



  12. Click Done when finished


  13. Download the New Software installation PRC for the Kyocera/Samsung at:
    http://www.merchantanywhere.com/upgrades/archive/PVPInstall.Kyocera.prc
  14. Select "Save" and select "Desktop" as your location.
  15. Double-click on it
  16. When the Palm Install Dialog appears, click Done
    (Note, you may first see a Select Username dialog box before seeing the Install Tool)
  17. Hotsync your Device
    The correct file will be installed onto your device.

If the software doesn’t deploy automatically after a Hotsync and you need to install manually,
by tapping on PVPInstall icon (if it exists, as it self-deletes after installation)
